    Early Reservations

As with all vacations, learn everything you can about your destination. Minnesota campgrounds are no exception. Check out brochures and websites. Buy advanced tickets. Search for discount prices, hours of operations, agreeable amenities and recreations as well as the type of weather you will likely to encounter. Spending a camping trip saturated with rain storms, snow storms or blizzards could mean the loss of time and money and a chance for great memories.

    Safety Tips

Campground staff can only guarantee your safety to a certain extent. The ultimate responsibility for your safety belongs to you and the choices you make. You and family members must be careful to read every warning sign encountered on the campgrounds. This includes all signs restricting access to dangerous areas such as deep drop-offs and rough currents, deep cliffs and damaged piers, docks and stairways.

In the case of a serious accident, emergency contact numbers must be available to obtain immediate assistance.
